Application scope:
This wheel brake disc bolt tightening machine is mainly used for the tightening operation of the connection bolts for railway locomotive wheels and brake disc. The control system can real-time monitor the operation and record, save and export the tightening data (torque and angle) and tightening curve.

Main Features:
- The tightening machine is mainly composed of machine body, double tightening shafts, rotary positioning table, screw clamping device, initial positioning device and eclectrial control system etc.
- Tightening process: first lift the pre-assembled wheel brake disc onto the rotary positioning table, the rotary positioning table will automatically position and expand and fix the wheel bore, then the plug of the initial position device will stand against the brake disc surface, the brake disc will rotate slowly with the rotary positioning table, the plug of the initial positioning device will be inserted into the bolt hole under the force, at this time, the rotary table will stop rotating and the wheel brake disc is completed the initial positioning. After that, the positioning table together with the lower table rotate to the bottom of the tightening shaft, and the bolts on both sides of the platform are clamped before the tightening device is started, the bolts in the bolt hole shall be first butted. After the tightening device is jacked, the tightening shaft device moves down and starts to tighten the screws bolts. After a pair of bolts are screwed, the rotary table rotates to go for the tightening of next pair of bolts according to the pre-programmed sequence until all the bolts are tightened. After the bolts are tightened, the rotaty table returns to the original position, and the tightened wheel brake disc is lifted out to complete the tightening work of a wheel brake disc bolt.
- Automatic tightening: after workpiece information is input, the control system will automatic called out the relavent tightening program and judge whether the actual workpiece is matched witht the called program.
- During the tightening operation, the control system can real-time monitor the operation and record, save and export the tightening data (torque and angle) and tightening curve.
- The tightening shaft has forward and reverse rotation functions. The rotation direction can be changed by editting the tightening rogram.
- The control system can automatically judge whether the tightening is qualified and will give alarm in case of tightening failure.
- Only one operator required to complete the whole tightening procedures.
- Siemens PLC and AdvanTech industrial computer to control and monitor the operation.
