Application scope of the Wheel Press:

This automatic double cyliner wheel set press is used to mount and dismount the wheelset components of the railway passenger cars, wagons, metros, intercity cars etc.). It can monitor and record the pressing data, and export the pressing curve. One positioning without reversing the axle to proceed both sides’ mounting and dismounting.

Machine features of the Horziontal Wheelset Press:

• The Wheel press machine is a horizontal hydraulic wheel press and will be installed in a pit.
• The wheel press-fitting machine is able to mount and dismount both wheels on the same axle without turning the axle and in a sequence first the wheel at one side of the axle then the wheel at the other side.
• The wheel assembly machine will be able to complete the mounting/dismounting of two wheels onto / off the axle simultaneously once the wheels have been loaded onto the Machine.
• Gantry frame structure, with high strength, good rigidity and less deformation.
• Double-end cylinder pressing. Only need one positioning without 180 degree reversal of the axle to proceed both sides’ wheel mounting and dismounting.
• The Wheel mounting and dismounting press is equipped with special patented centring devices at both ends of two ram cylinders for center hole positioning.
• Unique Invention patented cylindrical ram for wheel mounting, with high pressing accuracy.
• The CNC wheel press is equipped with a 180 degree rotary trolley for wheelset loading and unloading. It will exit from the press during the operation.
• The wheel press is equipped with a gearbox support to support the gearbox during the whole process.
• The Machine can track and control the whole process, detect the pressing condition of the wheelset, and analyze and process it through industrial computer. It can export the force vs displacement curve and other results onto the screen and printer.
• The Machine is designed with acoustic-light alarm to ensure the safe and reliable operation.
