Horizontal Hydraulic Wheelset Press, Wheelset Mounting and Demounting Press
The hydraulic wheel press is a horizontal design for mounting and dismounting the wheelset elements, such as wheels, gears, brake discs, etc, and for the back pressure test (if required) of rail vehicles (high-speed trains, metros, trams, EMU, locomotives, coaches or wagons etc).
Product Features:
- The press is fully automatic and only one operator is required to complete the operation.
- After the wheelset is transferred to the press and positioned in the press, the press will carry out both side wheel mounting or dismounting, without the need to reverse the axle 180°.
- The machine bed of the press adopts an overall gantry frame structure. It provides a rigid frame with high strength and stability so as to smooth the operation with vibration free.
- The press is provided with double ram cylinders for mounting and dismounting.
- A centering device is mounted at each end of the piston rods for aligning the center of the axle with the center of the ram cylinders and clamp the axle.
- A cylindrical ram is mounted at each end face of the ram cylinders to block the wheel hub for wheel mounting.
- A mobile slider device is mounted on the machine bed for dismounting wheels, as well as mounting and dismounting of brake discs and gears etc.
- A motorized wheelset transferring trolley is provided for the wheelset loading and unloading. The trolley will lift the axle to the center of the press to assist the centering devices for positioning the axle. The trolley will exit the machine during the operation.
- A gearbox support is provided to support the gearbox. It will keep supporting the gearbox during the operation.
- The electrical control unit is provided with both Manual and Automatic operation mode. It provides the measurement and recording system to record and save the detected data.
- A wheel measurement unit is provided at the upper crossbeam of the machine bed to detect the wheel position and wheel back-to back distance.
- Force sensors and displacement sensors are provided to real-time detect the pressing force applied and the displacement for the control system to plot the force vs displacement diagram on the LCD screen of the industrial PC. The force vs displacement diagram can be printed on the supplied printer to provide a permanent record of each operation or save to a USB drive.
